DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Monarch" mantel clock with a spring driven 8 time and half hour strike movement in a black walnut case.
CONDITION:
The case is in excellent condition with an original finish, retaining the faux graining on the key drawer and adjoining curved areas. The top finial appears replaced, but correctly done. The original paper dial is in excellent condition and nicely aged. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The door glass and stencilled design are original.
